RICK AND MORTY is a Crazy, Dark, Hopeful Monster of Imagination – That Thing You Like #65

Rick-Morty-podcast

WUBBA LUBBA DUB DUB! RICK AND MORTY is a trip, man. From the minds of Justin Roiland (Lemongrab!) and Dan Harmon (Community!) comes the twisted version of a Doc Brown and Marty relationship. It’s hilarious. Like, legit lolz. But there’s more to it than that – this show has weird things to say about life, and its pointlessness, and the good things that can still happen because of that pointlessness. Which is a lot to expect from a cartoon, right?

WELL CARTOONS ARE JUST A MEDIUM YOU CAN TELL ANY KIND OF STORY IN A MEDIUM TAKE OFF YOUR JUDGEMENT GLASSES

*sigh*

We digress. Rick and Morty is something special, and since it’s only 11 episodes, you DEFINITELY have time to check it out. But, whether you watch it now or need to be convinced, our podcast is right for you!

  1. Not to demean the other ones but this is the best sign-off of the podcast. Likely-likers4lyfe. Also you should check out the Rick and Morty flash game on adultswim.com the dialogue is so great I feel like it must have come from someone in the writer’s room.
